Oil on Canvas油畫 60x60cm 2019. I was thinking of a coke bottle when I drafted the painting. The bottle is a typical symbol of consumerism for contemporary societies. Eggs are the products in the huge supply chain to us. Hens definitely didn’t look at their eggs this way, but obviously we don’t care. If we put our feet in hens’ perspective, we would appreciate more about the eggs we eat every day. We are not able to change the motif and the fact of consumerism, but we may contribute a little respect to those sacrificed animals.
